Random number generator
Pick a range and draw one or thousands of random numbers: integers or decimals, with or without repeats, sorted if you like. It uses the browser’s cryptographic generator and removes modulo bias so every number has exactly the same probability.

How to use
- 1Set the minimum and maximum (both inclusive) or use a shortcut such as the dice or the lottery.
- 2Choose how many numbers you want, the decimals and whether they can repeat.
- 3Click “Generate” or press Ctrl/Cmd + Enter.
- 4Copy or download the list, or share a link with the same settings.
Use cases
- Social media giveaways, raffles and contests with unique numbers.
- Lottery, bingo or board game picks.
- Random selection of samples, students or turns.
- Numeric test data for development and spreadsheets.
Frequently asked questions
Are the numbers truly random?
They are generated with crypto.getRandomValues, the browser’s cryptographically secure generator, seeded by operating-system entropy. It is far more robust than Math.random and suitable for draws.
What is modulo bias and how is it avoided?
If you reduce a random number to a range with the modulo operator, the first values come up slightly more often. Here the leftover values are discarded (rejection sampling), so every number in the range has exactly the same probability.
What does “no repeats” mean?
Each number can appear only once in the list, like drawing balls from a drum. That is why you cannot ask for more numbers than fit in the range.
Are the minimum and maximum included?
Yes, the range is inclusive: with minimum 1 and maximum 6 any number from 1 to 6 can come up, just like a die.
How many numbers can I generate at once?
Up to 10,000 per draw, as integers or with up to 10 decimals.
