Date calculator

Two calculators in one: find out how many days, weeks, months or years lie between two dates (with business days shown separately), or start from a date and add or subtract any amount of time to learn which day you land on. It handles leap years and sends nothing to a server.

How to use

  1. 1Choose “Days between two dates” or “Add or subtract time”.
  2. 2Pick the dates on the calendar; in the second option, enter years, months, weeks and days.
  3. 3If needed, turn on counting the end day or counting business days only.
  4. 4Read the result: total days, years-months-days, weeks, hours, business days or the resulting date with its weekday.

Use cases

  • Work out how many days remain until a deadline, trip or event.
  • Find the due date of a 30-, 60- or 90-day term.
  • Count the business days between two dates for a project or paperwork.
  • Calculate exact age or length of service in years, months and days.

Frequently asked questions

Does it count the start and end days?

By default it counts the days that pass between the two dates, not including the end day. Turn on “Also count the end day” to include it, as in a rental priced by nights and days.

How does it calculate business days?

It counts Monday to Friday. It does not subtract public holidays, which vary by country and place, so deduct them yourself if needed.

What happens when adding months to the 31st?

If the target month does not have that day, it stays on the last day of the month: 31 January plus one month gives 28 or 29 February.

Does it account for leap years?

Yes. Calculations use the real calendar, including 29 February.

Are my dates stored?

They are neither sent nor stored on any server; everything is calculated in your browser.
