Frequently asked questions
How are the pieces named?
By row and column starting at 1: photo-r1-c1, photo-r1-c2 and so on. That tells you the order to upload them.
In what order do I upload to Instagram?
Upload the last row first, right to left, and finish with the first row, so the profile shows the full image in place.
Do the pieces lose quality?
They are not resized: each piece is an exact crop of the original pixels. PNG has no loss; JPG or WebP apply light compression.
How many pieces can I create?
Up to 10 columns by 10 rows, that is 100 pieces. If the image is very small, the maximum adjusts to its pixels.
