How can I verify this?
Your files are never uploaded: they are processed on your device. Check it yourself: load the page, turn off your WiFi and the tool keeps working. Or open your browser’s developer tools (F12), go to the Network tab, and see that no file leaves your device.

How to use
- 1Drop the PDF you want to watermark.
- 2Type the text and adjust size, opacity, angle and color while watching the preview.
- 3Enable “Tile across the page” to cover the whole page, or choose which pages to mark.
- 4Click “Add watermark” and download the PDF.

Frequently asked questions
Can the watermark be removed later?
The mark is drawn over each page’s content as text, so removing it is not trivial, but it is not a foolproof security method. Always keep the original without a mark.
Which characters are supported?
Latin letters with accents, numbers and common symbols. Non-Latin scripts (Cyrillic, Chinese, Arabic…) are not available with the standard PDF font.
Is the preview exact?
It is approximate: it gives you the position and general look. The final result is calculated with each page’s real dimensions.
Are my documents uploaded?
No. The watermark is added in your browser with pdf-lib, inside a Web Worker.
