Frequently asked questions

Is my PDF uploaded to a server?

No. Pages are drawn in your browser with pdf.js, so the document never leaves your device. That makes it suitable for private documents.

Which resolution should I choose?

72 DPI is enough for on-screen viewing, 150 DPI is a good balance for sharing and 300 DPI is the usual print quality. More DPI means a sharper image and a bigger file.

JPG or PNG?

JPG is smaller and ideal for pages with photos. PNG is lossless and better for text, diagrams and screenshots with sharp edges, but files are larger.

Can I convert only some pages?

Yes. Type a range such as 1-3, 5, 8- in the pages field and only those pages are converted. Leave it empty to convert them all.

What about a password-protected PDF?

It cannot be read until the protection is removed. Unlock it in your PDF reader and try again.
