Frequently asked questions
How are XML attributes converted?
Attributes appear as keys prefixed with @ (for example "@id") and text mixed with elements is stored under "#text".
How is JSON turned into XML?
Each key becomes a tag and arrays repeat the tag. If the root has several keys, a <root> element is added.
Is information lost when converting?
The three formats are not equivalent: YAML allows comments and XML has attributes, which JSON does not. Comments are lost.
Is my data uploaded to a server?
No. Conversion happens locally in your browser.
