Unzip a ZIP file

Drag in a ZIP and you will see the list of files it contains, with their sizes. You can search by name and download only the one you need or all of them. The ZIP is opened in your browser, so its contents are never uploaded to any server.

Frequently asked questions

Is my ZIP uploaded to a server?

No. It is opened in your browser, and the contents never leave your device.

Can it open password-protected ZIPs?

No. Encrypted ZIPs cannot be opened with this tool and you will be told so. Use a program that supports passwords.

What about folders?

The list shows each file’s full path (folder/file.txt). When you download it, it is saved with just its file name.

Is there a size limit?

The unzipped content must fit in your browser’s memory (the tool warns you if it is too much). For huge ZIPs, use a desktop program.

What about other formats such as RAR or 7z?

Only ZIP is supported.
